Project Background – Create a Resort-Style Night Pool

The hotel is located in a busy business and tourism district, with many guests enjoying the pool after sunset. Management wanted the pool area to match the standard of a modern Mediterranean resort: bright but not harsh, comfortable for families and visually impressive from the restaurant terrace and guest room balconies. They also faced high power bills and regular lamp failures during the peak season, especially in hot summer months.

After a site inspection, Cyangourd’s engineering team proposed replacing all traditional underwater fixtures with energy-saving 12V LED pool light systems using resin filled wall-mounted lamps. The solution needed to work with the existing transformer room, simplify future maintenance and deliver stable IP68 waterproof performance under continuous operation.

On-Site Installation & Commissioning

To avoid disturbing hotel guests, installation was scheduled during early-morning maintenance windows. Old halogen fittings were removed, niches were checked and cleaned, and the new LED pool lights were mounted using stainless steel brackets and corrosion-resistant fasteners. Existing cable routes were reused where possible to control costs, while new junction boxes and waterproof connectors were added to meet current safety standards.

After wiring checks and transformer testing, the Cyangourd team carried out a full night simulation, adjusting beam directions, brightness levels and RGB scenes. The goal was to make the water surface appear calm and bright, avoid dark corners near steps and ladders, and ensure that the pool edge could be clearly seen from all guest approaches.
